Experience in the field
I’ve worked on a variety of health care and life sciences products including a coronary atherectomy device, point-of-care molecular diagnostics unit, batch drug compounding machine, and a surgical robotics platform.
What do you like about working at a company that designs medical products?
I enjoy working on products that make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of their users. The medical field is a great place to see this impact in all phases of the product development lifecycle.
What do you like about working at Tensentric?
I am passionate about working with great people on complex challenges. Tensentric offers both.
What unique set of skills do you bring to Tensentric?
I am a team sports person, highly motivated by the success of my team. In the workplace, this translates to a strong ability to build relationships – a strength that has served me well in the contract engineering realm. Additionally, as an engineering transplant from the medical and bio-research field, I bring a different perspective to the product design and development space.
What hobbies or non-work activities are you most passionate about?
I love all things outdoors, from camping and paddle boarding, to snowboarding and cross country skiing. Despite my lack of artistic ability, I am a big fan of wheel-throwing pottery. I also love exploring the craft beer scene Colorado has to offer.
Where were you born/where did you grow up?
I was born in New Mexico but grew up in Spokane, Washington (Go Zags!)
When you were in elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to work for Consumer Reports analyzing and comparing competing products – I saw it on a movie once and it looked awesome.
