What do you like about working at Tensentric?

Working with a group of professional and highly talented engineers that thrive in a space where delivering excellence, respect, service, kindness, and integrity are valued.

If you couldn’t be an engineer, what would you be? Why?

I would enjoy many different professions — it would be difficult to predict which I would choose if circumstances were different.

What unique set of skills do you bring to Tensentric?

I have considerable experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise software with an emphasis on security, availability, and performance. I have experience deploying developing these kinds of solutions in public cloud, private datacenter, and on-premises models.

What hobbies or non-work activities are you most passionate about?

I enjoy farming, raising animals, blacksmithing, metalworking, outdoor adventures, motorcycling, and anything else that sounds new and different. I’ll probably try ultralight aviation next, but who knows.

If you could work on any type of medical device project, what would it be and why?

I would love to work on something that help disabled people regain freedom or quality of life.

Where are you from and how did you end up in Colorado?

It’s hard to say where I am from. I moved a lot as a child. My mother was born in Colorado. My children were born in Colorado. I, however, was not born in Colorado — but, I have moved here 3 times.

What do you like most about living in Colorado?

I enjoy the climate, the spectacular geography, and a culture where individuals are generally free to be themselves.
