EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD

I have had various roles for new product development of pulse oximetry monitors and sensors, endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes, an infusion pump, dental hygeine products, and various other consumer products.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT A COMPANY THAT DESIGNS MEDICAL PRODUCTS?

I like advancing medicine in a way that can benefit millions of people.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT TENSENTRIC?

I like the fast design cycles. The processes are streamlined so there is virtually no bureaucracy.

WHAT UNIQUE SET OF SKILLS DO YOU BRING TO TENSENTRIC?

I worked on assembly lines while in college and later supported them as a manufacturing engineer after graduating. Eventually, I was designing products that were manufactured on those same lines. These experiences taught me firsthand the impact my decisions in design would have on sustaining engineering and the assembly lines.

WHAT HOBBIES OR NON-WORK ACTIVITIES ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

I like to travel. I also enjoy hiking.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN/WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?

I was born in San Antonio, TX but grew up all over because my dad was in the Air Force.

WHEN YOU WERE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?

I wanted to be the President. In hindsight, I’m glad that didn’t work out!
