What’s the most interesting Medical Device project you’ve worked on and why?
The PIC Catheter Vascular Navigation System. It’s cool because you output a square wave into the blood and look for Doppler effects. I was responsible for developing the FPGA code that implemented initial Digital signal processing (FIR filer and mixer on multiple high precision channels).
If you could work on any type of medical device project, what would it be and why would you want to work on it?
Working on early R&D aspects to get into the science not just the engineering.

Park Ranger, live in the mountains, outside all day.
What hobbies or non-work activities are you most passionate about?
Being outdoors, camping with the family, skiing. Home school the kids. Gardening, working around the house.
