Experience in the field

I have 9 years of engineering experience working on medical devices. This includes drug delivery using electroporation, automated lab instrumentation, low cost sample prep consumables, patient contacting sensors, and monitors.

What do you like about working at Tensentric?

I knew I wanted to work on medical devices when I was in school. I enjoy seeing the positive impact they have on people and I get a lot of motivation from seeing a device increase someone’s quality of life.

What unique set of skills do you bring to Tensentric?

I believe I work on a team very well. I enjoy facing the challenges of an engineering project with a team and I don’t let myself get discouraged during the rough spots.

What hobbies or non-work activities are you passionate about?

When I’m not at work I’m either planning a trip to the mountains or I’m in the mountains. I enjoy hiking, climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, and the list could go on.

When you were in elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up?

For the longest time I wanted to be a sports team mascot. I still think it would be a fun gig…

If you could time travel, what time would you travel to?

I would enjoy traveling back to meet Albert Ellingwood, so the early 1900s. He was responsible for a number of named peaks in Colorado and his unique attitude towards the challenge of the route rather than gaining the summit was very different for the time.
