What do you like about working at Tensentric?

Interesting projects, excellent people and a managment philosophy that engineers trust and respect.

What unique set of skills do you bring to Tensentric?

I’m a great integrator of hardware, software and systems. Working in the contract engineering services field for more than a decade has provided tremendous breadth of experience at all levels of medical device development.

What’s the most interesting Medical Device project you’ve worked on and why?

The acetabular cup positioner system was a highlight. It combined sensing, communications, embedded software, GUI development and calibration in a system to replace a traditionally mechanical process. Playing with it in the lab provided a real sense of wonder.

If you couldn’t be an engineer what would you be? Why?

I had many different odd-jobs during my formative years. Farming was my favorite. It’s a lot of hard work, but I love being outdoors and it’s immensely satisfying to eat the fruits of your labor.

What do you like most about living in Colorado?

The diversity and quality of live music that comes through Colorado is a great source of enjoyment.
