Hard Work Pays off for Partners and Charities

Tensentric’s Partners in Caring team visited Engineering World Health (EWH) to deliver $12,000 for work done with Medtronic this year. Leslie J. Calman, Chief Executive Officer at EWH accepted the donation and reiterated the positive effect this money has. Training a workforce of in-country biomedical engineering technicians and instructors in Asia, Africa and Latin America is just one example of the many programs this money helps. John Bruce and Greg Dameron, from Medtronic’s Surgical Technologies team, agree that this program fits well with the Medtronic tagline, Let’s go further together.

What do Boulder's Community Food Share and Tensentric’s Medical Device Engineering Contractors have in Common?

They have the spirit of giving and competition in common. Teams at Tensentric competed to see how many pounds of food they could donate to win bragging rights at the office. Together we far surpassed the goal, giving a total of 1169 pounds of food, and the Electrical Engineers won the contest with an average of 35 pounds of food per person. Boulder Community Food Share (BCFS) distributes food locally and loves that competitive spirit. At Tensentric, competition is alive and well and benefiting others.
